You might at least pretend to do what you supposedly did in those golden days.

A really good book called “Silent Coup” about Nixon.
Although Woodward denied it, the writers (REAL investigative journalists) have the documents that showed Woodward was in the navy under some guy - Admiral Moore I think. And Moore (and Haig?) were trying to do an end-round on Nixon’s and Kissinger’s diplomacy (they thought it was undermining the military).
Anyway - all very conspiracy-like, but well documented. Had Woodward spying on Nixon/Kissenger, etc. while he was in the navy. And he continued his war on Nixon later as a reporter.
Every guest should be required to take a lie detector test before they can appear on these shows. One question would be asked: “Will you like to protect obama, hillary or your party?” I guarantee there wouldn’t be on democrat willing to take the test.
That would have been a great comeback. Too bad those “conservatives” can’t think on their feet.
She could have added “Four people died. I would think that you and everyone else would never want it to go away until the guilty parties are charged with a crime. You claim to be a journalist. Act like one.”
