My son went to college out of state and I paid though the nose for it. I see now if I was an illegal I could get a better deal. Screwed up I should have bought him a McDonald's.

He followed the lead of Texas governor, La Raza Rick Perry, as did California’s Jerry Brown. And they all did what they did because liberals firmly believe ILLEGAL aliens should get special treatment.

At least Perry didn’t have serious Rat competition in Texas. He may very well have handed the election now to the Oompa Loompa.

You know what we need to do? Elect more RINOS that can win...because Dems are worse.
Yup. Lets keep being idiots. It works GREAT. And don’t forget to thank your fellow freepers who push for lesser evil.

With this legislation, higher education became more affordable and more accessible to all Floridians
I agree with the above statement... Of course, ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE NOT LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA!!!
Sorry, I attempted to restrain myself...

ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE NOT LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA!!!They don't have to be. The pro-ILLEGAL alien crowd found a way around the USSC ruling that residency cannot be a qualifier. Texas, for example, decided it could get around the ruling by saying if one attended high school for 3 years in Texas they would qualify. The strategy worked and now liberals all across the country are following.

I told my two kids that if they want to attend college to go to Mexico, become a citizen, change their name to a Hispanic sounding one, sneak back across the border and demand free healthcare and tuition...
Half jokingly.
This joke of mine gets less and less funny with each passing day.

My point, is that regardless of USSC rulings, these people are not legal residents of Florida. Before one can be a legal resident of a state, they must be a legal resident in the US.
We need to deport now and often. Not give more handouts to people who are here illegally.
Citizenship is being devalued as I type...

According “the laws of the land” like ObamaCare, Scott is aiding and abetting criminals. We are no longer a nation of laws. We’re a nation of pathetic morons. Losers. Zeroes.

I agree with you 100%. While the USSC ruled years ago that we must educate the ILLEGAL hordes that infest our country, it did not approve of giving them tuition breaks. Unfortunately, Texas found a way around that ruling and other states are following suit.
This is only fair, and if you do not agree, you "have no heart".

Rick Scott has lowered the debt (in absolute, not relative or inflation adjusted terms) of this State back to where it was when Crist first took office.
With the alternative clearly laid out before me I can tell you how I’m going to proudly vote, because I have no illusions about whether Crist would have signed a bill like this one.
