BitCoin eliminates the need for global bankers. It could make them obsolete. It could cut them off at the knees.

Just saying.

obama is appy putin is destroying the us dollar. it kills the middle class, consolidates is control over us, and weakens us as a world power. it does so many things obama wants without him having to get his hands dirty.

In the few months I’ve seen the DC Clothesline stories posted here, it seems most are best served with a tin-foil hat warning.

While I am firmly convinced that Obama is evil and hates America and that Putin is brutal and loves Russia, most of this article strikes me as more than a little nutty. You don't need a conspiracy to explain Obama's actions, not when he admits that he seems drug-addled because he was a druggie for many years, not when he admits that he wants to fundamentally transform a country that used to be free and used to have the rule of law, and not when he has proven to be so petty and vindictive that it is easy to imagine him caring more about getting someone who disrespected him than about whatever his real priorities may be (and I have no guess on what he cares about other than destroying what others have built, as he throws petty "you didn't build that" fits in those absurd little jealous rages of his.

"BitCoin eliminates the need for global bankers. It could make them obsolete. It could cut them off at the knees."

Oh really? Don't bit coin prices fluctuate wildly? Yes they do. . On Jan 1. 2013 a bit coin cost $13 and change. Today it's over $600!

That's the last thing you want in a currency, which is meant to be a stable store of value and a fixed scale to enable markets in goods and services to set relative values easily. A little fluctuation can be dealt with, massive fluxuation is death to a currency (hyperinflation being the obvious example).

Commodities that fluctuate wildly are something to trade, not something to measure the value of other things in. Bit coin has been a fantastic trade for people who got in early.

But as money? It fluctuates so wildly which means that no one in their right mind would use it to denominate business, just as international concerns that have a choice don't use currencies that fluctuate too much. (Argentine Peso, Zimbabwe Dollar, etc.)

Also, didn't millions of dollars of bit coins disappear when a web site crashed recently? Hmmm??

bitcoin exchange charge may have cost sers $350M

...just sayin'

Tell me what would keep a government from taking over and controlling bitcoin?

If they did, and eliminated cash, they’d control everyone.

Stupid article with an idiotic premise. In reality, driving down the Dollar means more U.S. manufacturing and more domestic oil production...and less imports from crapworld foreign nations.

The problem here is ?

" And when your children are sent to fight and die in World War III, I think you and they have right to know who they are fighting for and why they must die. "

Unless there is some treaty or some unwritten rule that they won't nuke it out instead of duke it out ?
It will be a very short nuke feast, there will be no need for ground troops to fight it out since 60 percent of the world's population will be vaporized.

“Go to war” is more a mantra than a reality. The only war we are likely to see is the overthrow of our corrupt government by our citizenry to be replaced with something more closely resembling the government designed by our framers.

Well, maybe but if this the Great War of the future, the simple explanation of a ‘Primary Reason’ is that they were ‘gathered together’.... Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Putin is nothing compared to the $17+ trillion our government has robbed the world of.
