From Chocolate City... and to be ignored.
The writers of this screed can’t even get David Brat’s first name correct....George Brat? Yes, people (Tea Partiers) who want to restore the constitution to its rightful place and diminish the power of Big Government are the modern Know-Nothings. What a load of bunk.
All those people being tarred and feathered by the TEA party deserve it. Oh wait, the TEA party hasn’t tarred and feathered anyone.
Second, the Tea Party is nothing like the Liberty or No-Nothing Parties because it has a position on a wide array of policies---a "platform" that the others never had.
When looking to history, it's important to get the facts right. The Republican Party succeeded where the Whigs failed because not only did they address all the other issues, but they addressed the ONE issue that neither party would (slavery), and today's Tea Party addresses the largest issue in front of us which is the size/growth of government.
How much longer can we continue borrowing to support the Welfare State?
Tea Party Answer: We can't much longer. We have to cut spending.
Establishment Answer: I know nothing.
How are we going to balance the budget?
Tea Party Answer: We need to cut spending to a reasonable level, like the level we had 10 years ago. We need to cut back on entitlements.
Establishment Answer: I know nothing.
Less taxes? Smaller Government? I can’t wait for that influence.
Blow it out yer ass. Besides, Tea Party dead. Why worry about it?
Wrong again, nitwits. That was Delaware.

The Know-Nothings didn’t have an out of control federal debt that is forming an exponential curve. I wonder if the author remembers anything about exponential curves from his high school math if he got that far in math that is.
From George David Brat's website:
We Believe That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice,
That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society,
That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government,
That the Federal Government must preserve individual liberty by observing Constitutional limitations,
That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense,
That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers is essential to the moral fiber of the Nation.
Yep. All kinds of problems here, but it probably works for the low-information reader.
