It's my favorite barbecue place and the story is absolutely true. It's also so popular at lunch time on Friday that you can't sit down. On the wall is the Gadsden flag, a framed copy of the Declaration of Independence, and a display case with cartridges dating back to the Civil War. On the ceiling are flags from all the armed services. The condiment-and-napkin dispensers are ammo cans.

It's a sort of subtle message, actually. ;-)

If businesses do not want people to carry firearms on their premises, then they would ask people not to do so. Clearly, most businesses welcome gun owners. (As for those who don’t, I wonder if the government should require businesses to allow open carry. The government does have an incentive to promote the general welfare, and if the business owners are too stupid to see the benefits of open carry, then the government can force them to see the light at little to no cost to the taxpayer.)

I am positive that Democrats and RINOs work to ban open carry laws precisely because they want businesses to fail, patrons to get shot, and business owners to have no protection against Federal thugs who want to seize property.
