Those of us of a certain age can actually remember when Disney made great, great films, without an agenda. "Davy Crockett," "Daniel Boone" "The Great Locomotive Chase," introduced me, as a youngster, to American history. And there were no better depictions of the birth of our nation, our struggle for independence from Britain, than "Johnny Tremain" and "The Swamp Fox." Was just watching the ep where they’re at the CDC. The doctor who locked them in said the doors were meant to withstand a nuclear device. Daryl yelled, “Your head ain’t!” and went for him with an axe, LOL.
I’ve got Seasons 1-3 on DVD but I love leaving the Dead marathons on in the background as we celebrate the 4th.
Same here. We have the Blu-Rays, but I still get excited about the marathons.
We had a great time last night. Wonderful fireworks, volley and answer, all across the lake.
I’m going to get an iPhone today. My other has totally crapped out. ‘Call you around noon or 1. Over and out.
