My neighborhood had a few burglaries for a while. Lately crime is way down. I notice there are now 3 County Constables living in the neighborhood within a few blocks of each other. And their cars are always parked at their homes at night. I love it!
For the rest of us, those that don’t happen to have police presents, guns and dogs are our defense.
