Misses the point? It addresses the thesis i.e. the topic sentence!
The author’s claim - and yours - are that Tesla cars are the ‘best available.’ In the case of Consumer Reports, their biases and loyalties are well-established as is their shaky history of product ratings vs real-world performance.
As for ‘Big _______’ let’s try to avoid adopting the language of the left, with the notable exception of Big Government which is merely a euphemism for soft tyranny.
Big ________ is the kind of catch-all bogeyman preferred by class-action lawyers and grievance groups looking for a payday by inciting a mob.
If there is corruption then it can and should be addressed by pursuing the component groups.
If Tesla is vertically integrated who looks out for the consumer? I am loyal to a local dealer because he has gone to the mat with GM on warranty issues for me twice. If GM owned the dealership I would of had to eat $hit.
