I watched it for a couple of episodes because my brotherl likes it, but found myself that I didn’t like any of the characters. They all just killed each other off in a kind of amoral soup.

It it is keeping faith and trust among kin and friends that holds a story together. The Viking series is every bit as brutal as the game of thrones but the main characters hold together in faith and trust. And that keeps that story in the land of the living.

It is hard to like any of them. I almost sort of kind of liked Doug - but not totally.

As for Vikes….I also think that’ a series worth watching. I love the spiritual tension in it. And it’s very well done - altho the main character is the weakest IMO in Vikes - while the main character in Cards is amazing.
