Climate experts my butt. Many great lakes area FReepers were saying the lake levels would rise considerably at least a year ago. A very wet summer followed by extensive ice that prevented evaporation followed by another wet summer means rising lake levels. Its not at all complicated.

I've lived in Lake Erie country most of my life. Every high school kid knows the Great Lakes rise and fall regularly over time. A shame the "experts" didn't ask their local weatherman.

Due to surgery I have not been up to my place near Cadillac this year but I have a weather app that allows me to track everything up there. There was, and still is, a lot of rain going on there.
