The States would have standing to sue the federal government if Obama takes this action. They could sue for declaratory and injunctive relief, which means that they would ask the Supreme Court to declare Obama’s action illegal, and order the federal government to do nothing to enforce Obama’s illegal action.this could work. Cleaner than impeachment, can't blame a political party since it's the entire state doing the suing, and it goes straight to the Supremes instead of through lower courts. I like it.
