McDaniel and his allies have accused Cochran of stealing the nomination, in part
by courting African-American Democrats to turn out for the senator.

I keep seeing this attribution about ‘turning out for the senator’. Why didn’t
McDaniel make an attempt to ‘turn out these voters for his campaign? Does he not
consider them a part fo the Mississippi voting constituency?
You’ve been around FreeRepublic since 1998 and you’re only now getting caught up in the shenanigans of what’s been going on in the Mississippi primary? Oy!
“Why didnt McDaniel make an attempt to turn out these voters for his campaign?”
The McDaniel campaign reached out to ALL Mississippi voters with Conservative principles that would benefit ALL citizens. The Cochran campaign reached out specifically
with a campaign of fear, race baiting and lies against Senator McDaniel and his Conservative supporters while passing out envelopes containing $15 in exchange for a vote.
Wow, you must have no clue what went on in Mississippi. You need to try and talk JR into an edit function and erase your question. It’s embarrassing.
It’s reported that Cochran paid $15 a head for “turn out” votes. I think maybe McDaniel and the rest of the country have a problem with candidates paying for “turn out” votes.
