The only reason I can think of as to why Brown reacted as he did with the intent of severely harming s cop over a traffic ticket and what probably would have been a suspended sentence over a minor theft was because he was in a state of paranoia from chooming.

Hmmm. I know. He was pre-occupied thinking about going to college and didn’t even realize he’d stolen some swisher sweets, roughed up the clerk, walked in the middle of the street disrupting traffic and didn’t even know it was law enforcement that confronted him. Either that or he was thinking about an upcoming choir practice. There, sound right? It could be incorporated in to the narrative.

Duh!!!
Putting that clown Johnson in charge was the biggest mistake of all. Obama couldn’t have done a worse job.

A friend of mine, retired detective from the LAPD, told me about a senseless crime where two California Highway Patrol officers were gunned down on a freeway where the CHP men had just stopped to direct traffic because some furniture had come off a flatbed truck and was blocking lanes.
A couple of fleeing bank robbers assumed it was a roadblock set up to catch them and the CHP guys never saw it coming.

Michael Brown got shot for thumbing his nose at the cop. If he'd simply done the obvious, normal thing, walking on the shoulder or sidewalk, he'd still be walking, not riding his last elevator. Dumb kids --

Worth mentioning that Chief Delmore uses VERY harsh language in the letter, multiple times. Those discussing it are unduly watering down the tone.

Exactly....mindset,as influenced by the drugs in his system at the time.Even if the cop hadn't heard a report of the robbery the *punk* knew he had just committed a robbery and had every reason to fear that the cop knew of it.Add to that the possibility of the early stages of schizophrenia (weird e-mails recently sent by the punk to his father according to the NY Times) and you have 300 pounds of lifeless flesh.
