I am unconvinced since I’ve seen the photograph of his attempt to pass an umbrella over a gated entrance rather than collapse it and walk through.
Bear in mind O is no political chess master. He is a community organizer and never has owned or participated in keeping a business afloat. He is following directives and if he fails at that he is expendable. Think monuments on the Mall and riots in the streets. Both of which would still serve the authors of the plays purposes. He’s a smooth talking door-to-door salesman with no other discernable talent of value. (My apologies to the Fuller Brush man and Kirby Vacuum Co. salesmen everywhere.) We’ve seen this a thousand times over at our front doors folks!
