I drive under the railway tracks at the right of the old train station (coming left of Michigan avenue from Michigan/Trumball area) to get to Mexicantown and to go to Edison. Lots of graffiti as you come out of the eerie underpass. Try that route. You could make a scene from a horror film at that underpass.
