This is one of the many reasons that Ebola spread in west Africa...denial of it’s danger and how contagious it was. Many publicly decried that it wasn’t a danger or that it didn’t exist. Funny how many here seem to be of the same mindset.
Last night I argued with a freeper that doesn’t see an issue with having high level bio facilities near governmental institutions.
Why would this be an issue? Given your history of very thoughtful posts, there is a reason that I should be thinking about.

Well, generally, consider that we have a situation where in DC as a whole has lots of bio facilities in close proximity and one of the Ebola facilities is a few miles outside Offut AFB, in Nebraska where the NBC case is at now. It is the Base of the Doomsday plane and primary continuance of Govt. bug out facility in the event the SHTF in DC.
Considering that in the past few months, there have been serious security breaches where top facilities have lost containment and that the CDC now seems to think decades of procedure can be replaced with pressure washers and soothing language, I can see a pretty obvious problem here.
If this were the Reagan or even Bush era, I wouldn’t be AS worried about something going ‘whoops!’ but this is the Zero/Rino crew who aren’t sticklers for detail.
To be completely honest, I have more faith in these guys than I do any official govt. body run by Obama’s merry band of libs. At least those two look ready to rock.
Actually “I GOT THIS” is exactly the outcome I’d expect. They will indeed get it. Just not in the sense they intended.
If not for them killing the rest of us with it, I’d not lose a second of sleep if they all Darwined themselves with it. I just find it impossible to feel any humanity at all for people that curse my existence simply for the crime of political disagreement.
Yeah, that’s going to be a problem trying to then sell that house not if but when those living in it develop Ebola symptoms. No one will buy that place that are in their right minds. That gated community will welcome the falling real estate prices that will ensue knowing their neighbor was the one that brought Ebola to their community.

Good point. But it sure blows the perception out of the water that the CDC has “rapid response teams” ready to swing into action to contain outbreaks of deadly diseases.
That was my inclination as well but after seeing the govt. giving illegals bottled water, clothes and reebok and Nike shoes, I’m surprised they aren’t giving the Ebola victims free everything, treating them like royalty.
They will swing over to the federal union shop steward who will notify whoever gives then the orders to deploy that dying by ebola ain’t covered in their contract. The crews will stand down until the USSC hears the case. Next session.

I’d tend to think the powers that be wanted a reliable nut job and put him there. Same old SOP for the left. He’s just the localized version of Ruth Ginsberg. I mean they have judges installed from traffic court on up even in heavily Red areas so I’m not shocked.
