The story I heard was the kid was bitten by a bat. The liberals need to get their stories straight.

If it was trained bushmeat...why didn’t the cooking kill the virus?

But it also addresses the key threat when hunting infected animals. Even in this country, few hunters use protective measures when cleaning carcasses. One can only imagine the practices in Africa...I’m also not convinced African meat preparation for Biltong is adequate to eradicate disease.

The irony is that as a delicacy, raw bats could find their way into kitchens in other countries. Right there you have the plot to Contagion.
