Rove attempting to rewrite and rehabilitate his RINO past.

Now I've written more published anti Rove material since early 2000s than almost anyone - and he vehemently dislikes me and my work. But I gotta tell you, your perspective is all wrong. Why don't you look at this like Rove is finally on the right side of this issue, at least in this campaign. This is not about Rove, it's about this Senate race. You are too obsessed with Rove. No, I don't trust Rove on this issue, but it's a good thing that his ad campaign is running.

After the election, Tokyo Rove will return to being liberal RINO to support a “pathway”...and not unlike “Mitch”.

“Trust, but verify.”

I’m with you on the thought that even a blind hog can find an acorn sometimes, but in general I don’t trust Rove any farther than I can throw him.

Rove is enough of a practical pol that he sees that amnesty is a titanic issue and to be on the wrong side of it is a career killer. I have no doubt his personal sympathies run to open borders but a guy who makes millions telling dopey politicians how to win can’t fight this juggernaut. He sees that he either has to get with the program or be pushed to the curb as irrelevant.

I agree with you 100%, but you’re never going to get around 10% of the people on this forum to give people in office a chance to see the light.

I have no doubt that if we win the senate we will keep our party in line this time. We can’t do squat unless we are back in power. We here have waited 6 years for this. I thought we were going to do it two years ago, and I still can’t understand how we lost.

Yes, Karl has seen the light. This country is in a major crisis and things need to be put back on track.

I agree that Rove is on the right side with this ad. However, I also believe that Rove is a utilitarian. It is only and uniquely about winning this race. As soon as this race is over, he’ll still be pro-amnesty Karl Rove.

Using hatred of illegal immigration to win a race has absolutely nothing to do with what he actually believes.
