Her suicide doesn’t fit any of these definitions. Especially not the first one. The first definition describes the qualities of someone who endures through bad times until the end. She took the easy way out. I’m not sure I’m qualified to condemn her, but sprucing up suicide by saying it is somehow “dignified” is stupid. She should’ve just said she wanted to kill herself because she feared pain. That is far more accurate and truthful. She did nothing good by killing herself, and no one in their right mind would say that she should be esteemed or respected for that decision. I might as well say I respect and esteem Hitler because he decided to avoid pain by killing himself.
Job 19:
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
Given that it's an aggressive brain cancer, she probably more feared becoming something other than herself before it was over.
