If Sony really wants to get even with North Korea, they would release the film for free! The more people who see it, the better...right? This issue is too important to try and profit from.

I got a feeling Sony might make it FREE down the road. In any event, this could inspire an interest in Nork stuff and imagery. I get a kick out of watching Nork military parade videos set to heavy metal music.

Sony is company, not a charity, the sole purpose it exists is profit. Charities can handle “issues”, Sony is just desperately trying to break even on what was probably going to be a hit and is now a disaster.

“This issue is too important to try and profit from.”

Then make your own movie about it and give it away. They already took investor’s cash on the promise that they were making a for-profit film, so they would be flirting with fraud charges to not try to make a buck off it.
