True or not, the report is *believable*. It would have been too ridiculous to invent when any normal, America-loving president occupied the White Hut.
Just goes to show that the default belief is that this is a BOgus POTUS who would order the shoot down of allies. Or rather, would let the Romulan poorly disguised as a shape-shifting lizard order the shootdown, while the coward would be squirreled away in some choom er broom closet.
