In TV, ratings equal money. Period.
Fox consistently trounces other cable network ratings. If the other cable news networks were interested in ratings, and therefore money, they’d choose to play their news coverage straight or lean it rightward. They haven’t. Instad, they chose ideology over ratings.

MSNBC and CNN are owned by stunningly profitable cable companies run by regime affiliates. Their financials are a trivial amount of the parent company.
Back door money?
Nope, just plain isn’t so. Period.
Shows with good ratings are cancelled because... THEY DON’T SELL PRODUCTS.
Ratings and demographics are tools used to sell product.
But results -measured in dollars- is the be-all and end-all of television.
