I don’t see 3D printing as being competitive with normal means of mass production. It will dominate prototyping and small scale part production though.

I know a lot of people who refuse to believe 3d printing is anything but science fiction. When you mention it in a production sense, they ask what you’re talking about. When you tell them they say stop believing what you see on the internet. They say it’s playing God. People around here are very backward.
