I don't think that matters.
The Islamic State is pushing at the Golan Heights and the Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, after joining ISIS will push, against Egypt and Israel from the Sinai.
I should have added, the IRG is the front of the push into the Golan Heights.

Egypt/Jordan and Israel have a common enemy. While I seriously doubt they would help Israel, they will turn the other cheek when Israel launches armegeddon. Assad will also look the other way as his self preservation right now is predicated on Israel repelling attacks on their northern border.
Read closer. There is similar pressure in both places. He just doesn’t take up the Egyptian border again because his focus is on Golan.
