... tuition has nearly quadrupled at public universities, adjusted for inflation, since 1980.I'll bet endowment funds have gone up more than that:
- Harvard University - $35.883 billion
- University of Texas System (system-wide) - $25.426 billion
- Massachusetts Institute of Technology -$12.425 billion
- University of Michigan - $9.731 billion.
Just what is Harvard going to do with $36 BILLION dollars? And why are they even charging tuition anymore?
