The bottom line that you essentially had to listen to the discussions at the Constitutional Convention in order to understand how the delegates had intended for the Constitution to be interpreted. In fact, the delegates should have made a constitutional proficiency test that people interested in serving their state and / or the country had to pass before being allowed to become a candidate for any public office.

The reality is that most people’s understanding of the Constitution is probably based on gossip, hearsay and outright lies, as evidenced by the legalization of gay marriage by activist justices, and old wives’ tales which low-information citizens — including law school students — have been intoctrinated to unquestioningly accept as the gospel truth about the Constitution.

Patriots need to take the Constitution out of its gift wrapping, read it (RTFM), and actually start practicing it.
