A Colorado man is being hailed a good Samaritan after rescuing an abandoned German shepherd whose muzzle and legs were taped shut.
On Saturday, Carl Allen and his friend were on their way to a car dealership when they noticed the pooch stranded on the road. He quickly jumped out of the car in disbelief, calling the scene “terrifying.”
At first, the 8-month-old dog was so frightened he began to urinate on himself. Thankfully, a passerby came to help Allen and the two were able to remove the tape.

This German shepherd was chained to a water heater for four years. Her confinement was so bad that the bladder shifted out of place.
Several people wanted beat the owner with a Louisville Slugger too.

Previous owner was charged with several felonies but sentenced to only 30 days in jail and $3000 restitution fine. And it took a volunteer two years to get the courts to chase the woman down to serve her time and restitution.
