I remember once that Alice Cooper said he couldn’t understand why people listen to Rock and Roll stars when they talk about politics. He went on to say that they drink and take drugs and most often don’t know what they re talking about. He said that when he was young and anyone started talking about politics he would go into his room and turn up the music.
Smart celebrities often are. But the smartest celebrities stay silent on politics.
I can't tell you many musicians I like that have horrible politics.
It ruins a lot of good music for me.
