We have crony capitalism with the government (federal, state, and local) control over 40% of GDP. The government provides the money in return for political contributions. The corporate paymasters decide what is best for America.

Immigration is a prime example. Why are we importing 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants a year along with 640,000 guest workers a year while we have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years. Wages are declining because we have a surplus of labor. Business privatizes the profits and socializes the costs.

It is advisable and definitely necessary to regulate quota's and speeds by which permission is given to those seeking to settle in America. We do not want criminal elements, drug runners, and agitators to come and attempt to change what works in America. We are not a nation shirking responsibility, or attempting to control choices of avenues to pursue. Simply for all to have responsibility to abide by the laws of this nation and to contribute to the growth of the whole in varying ways and means. Freedom of repression is a blessed state of being. God bless America. It takes fortitude and endurance.

We owned a business until January of this year which required hiring people to do very hard physical labor. The pay is excellent because of the skill level involved. We would train the prospect and assist them in obtaining the necessary license.

We interviewed many US-born and educated young men; however, they seemed to be unable to grasp that after a training period they would make a fine income. They expected immediate gratification. They had some sort of unrealistic expectation that they should immediately make the high income.

They believe what has become a false narrative and that is that getting an education means they will automatically waltz into a high-paying job. Educators do them a disservice.

Our last hire was a legal Mexican immigrant. Willing to work hard, reliable, honest and appreciative. He still expresses appreciation to us for the opportunity we gave him. I do not see this attitude in many of our spoiled children.
