I don’t think Trump would argue with you about opportunist. America was built by people who saw an opportunity and took it. Fraud, not so much. The man says what he thinks, listens to the smartest, most knowledgeable people he can find (like Jeff Sessions, Art Laffer and Steve Forbes to name a few recently) knows a lot and loves to learn new things. Not bad qualities in a leader. What he thinks may have changed over the years, and if you don’t like something that’s OK. But he’s no fraud.
And this is what won me over. Trump has already announced a three tiered income tax, that's not quite the ideal, but I believe Forbes and Laffer will sell him on a better, flatter tax plan that also deals with foreign made profits and corporate taxes in general.
