Not really. I've done a lot of research on "Hitler's Religion" for our book "A Patriot's History of the Modern World." In fact, he had in mind a Nazi church, and I have in my possession (or used to, someplace) a 100 page document from Nazi archives detailing the church structure under national socialism. Hitler said, "There shall be no book on the altar except 'Mein Kampf.'" He coopted all the Christian churches and most of the ministers, reforming them into a Nazi religion based on the Trinity, "Volk, Reich, Fuehrer."

I don't like Putin, but there is no similarity.

I think you have to dig down a little further. He began all nice and sweet towards the Christian church as he did with most everyone except the Jews. After he had gained the power for which he lusted, it was another story. Always is with tyrants.

Or this: by Fritz von Rabenau under the personal supervision of Adolf Hitler, Christmas 1940: "Silent Night, holy night, The Leader alone patiently watches, Blessing Germany, watching it, only thinking of her."

"Silent Night, holy night, All asleep, but alone Adolf Hitler protects the fate of Germany, leads her to greatness, glory and fortune, Grants to us Germans our merited power."

So much for Christianity.
