“Spending nary a dime...”

757’s just fly around the sky for free.

What a jack ass of a writer.

With a 10 to 20 point lead, he needs to spend money unnecessarily?

Huffnpuff doesn’t understand how this man can claim he could build a wall for less than the current estimate. They think he is supposed to waste money and line the pockets of crony political marketers, like crony politicians usually do.

Ok, just to make sure I’ve got this. Trump has a commanding lead without spending hardly anything. If he was serious, he would spend a lot of money to build the infrastructure a traditional candidate does? That about it?

He has them at wits end.

Not hard to do to liberals, considering their wits start at the half-way point

Paul Abrams has too much time on his hands. Idle thinking can cause stress and psychosis.

What twits

SHE ... as well as everyone else on the planet ... has GIVEN President Trump all the time, money and exposure any candidate could ever want to elect him.

Trump is President because his enemies elected him .... he never had to spend a dime

There is such a thing as overexposure, eventually the buzz around Trump will die down, and that’s when he can start spending.

Beware the candidacy of Howard Dean. It sure did look good from the outside until the first votes were cast. Turned out there was no there, there.

While I don’t think Donald has to do everything a conventional campaign does, he certainly has to start realizing that converting poll results to actual votes requires something else. A ground game is uber important.

I’m sure Trump would love to run ads but they would take away from the TV time he is already getting. Every time I turn on a news station - there he is.

yone in that position who had unlimited financial resources and who truly wanted to win the nomination would have already unleashed wall-to-wall ads in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada, and would be assembling a massive ground-game in those states.

Sez who?

Bush has a stockpile, and he hasn't been blasting yet, has he?

And how did that early spending work out for Walker?

If he doesn’t a ton they’d say he’s buying the nomination.

Trump should hire Paul Abrams immediately as his campaign manager.

Every news source today has him dropping out today. Hmm, sort of makes you wonder if they were all given the same orders.

Efficient use of resources does not equal apathy.

Not being donor dependent has really confused “traditional pundits”, and they are a prime example of why Mr. Trump has a great chance to win the nomination.

He’s “playing” by a fundamentally different set of rules, and is getting outstanding results. He’s still feeling his way, but he’s easily getting free “exposure” from the MSM and he’s had no reason to follow “traditional” tactics up to this point.

A very fun cycle this time around, IMO.

It’s amazing how the media pimp the story that it’s all about your ad buys.

Lots of FReepers seem to believe it, too. Look at all the “See how much money Ted Cruz raised last month” threads.

Where I live, people are ready to vote tomorrow.

Waaaah!

Trump isn’t playing politics by the common rules created by the media and our collective understanding.

He must be desperate since he is far-and-away in front?

What a maroon.
