Police will have a good start on leads. It was likely one of his Facebook “friends”, or at least one of them knows who is responsible. Cutting the leads from several million in the Philly area to a few thousand at most is a good start for the police.
Never advertised money, fake or real, to strangers.
Frankly, I’m not surprised it happens. When I see lottery winners go on TV cheering about millions of dollars, I just shake my head.

interestingly enough, banding together large bills to conceal small bills in a bundle is actually referred to as a Philadelphia Bankroll.
A black man I worked with posted a photo of himself with what appeared to be suitcases full of cash. He was murdered by two other black men; shot nine times in his home.

There is no “gun violence” in Australia. They have some of the strictest gun laws in the world.

I grew up in that neighborhood (moved away 30 years ago.) It is not a “suburb” of Philadelphia as the article suggests, but a neighborhood within the city. Anyone who knows anything about that area knows that it is very foolish to give the impression that you have a large amount of money or valuables in the house. They call that part of Philly the “Wild, Wild West.”
