I also liked Major Dad, Mary Tyler Moore and Rhoda and Gilligan’s Island.

Brilliant!
I love SO many but Fawlty Towers is my fave closely followed by Frasier.

Damn Fox programmers for the umpteenth time. Great series, much better done than the usual American-LEO-in-the-UK theme.
Not a sitcom, though.

Have to agree with Newhart, but I can’t put Gilligan’s Island in the Top 10, regardless of how iconic it is. When you watch it again after many years you realize how really lame it was.
I LOVE WKRP in Cincinnati!

Yes! Leave it to Beaver is the all time greatest sitcom. I used to watch after-school reruns in the early 60s when I was a kid, and I know all of the episodes. I still re-watch now on Amazon occasionally.

The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.
All In the Family and Sanford & Son were probably my dad's favourite shows.

I think you can outgrow stuff. I would not watch Three’s Company anymore. But I still love Mayberry.
