As a Catholic, and after watching the first 5 seasons nightly in the past year, I became
disgusted with the way the Catholic Church is presented. I'd continue watching it were it
not for it's constant assault on Catholicism, in the guise of it being about a "Catholic" family.

I am also RC and the show is written and produced by practicing Catholics. I recall a couple of episodes that were not totally in keeping with our faith -— a young Nun, with a past girlfriend in her civilian life -— but unlike you, I am not offended at all by Blue Bloods. I don’t see the assaults on the Church that you see.
Be well. God bless and keep you.

After the Baptism of my new baby brother back in 1960 or so, my middle brother William was crying all the way home in the back seat of the car. Dad asked him three times on the way home what was wrong. Finally, as we pulled in the driveway he bawled out “That priest said he wanted us brought up in a Christian home, but I want to stay with you and Mom.”
