A new home shopping channel plans to make buying a gun as simple as calling the number on your screen.
Starting in 2016, a network called Gun TV will join the peddlers of jewelry, weight loss programs and kitchen gadgets that regularly populate the odd hours of late night television. Its tagline: "Live Shopping. Fully Loaded."
The channel, owned by a parent company called the Social Responsibility Network, will air mostly shopping programming for guns, ammunition and hunting accessories for six early-morning hours every day with goals of eventually ramping up to a 24/7 operation, according to the Desert Sun...

I don’t watch TV.
So, now you’re just teasing me.
;-)
So those nights when I have gotten off midshift and canât sleep there will be something to watch besides I Love Lucy.
Cooooool! A gun porn channel.
Thanks. I will have one more channel to watch. That makes 5 or 6.
What state are they located in ..??
That will matter a lot.
Studio in California. Weapons will be sold from Sports South in Louisiana.

I think it’s a stupid idea (from a business standpoint). Time will tell if I am right or wrong.
PS. I “hear” Bud’s Gun Shop is a super easy way to buy guns.
Like any internet gun sales forum, it still has to be picked up at a FFL licensed dealer, form 4473 filled out, background check passed.
All it does is capitalize on the inability of every gun shop to stock what people might want.
Even Sportsman's Guide sells firearms using this model. You pick out what you want and they ship it to a dealer of your choice where you pick it up after doing the NICS and 4473 (and paying a fee to the dealer).
Despite liberal attempts to portray this like the days when my dad would fill out the order form, enclose a check, and get a gun back in the mail (Pre-GCA of '68), there is no loophole involved, the guns are really no more 'freely available', just the shopping options are greater.
(You could order the Ted Williams shotgun from Sears and Roebuck...back in the day).
Buds Gun Shop is absolutely the best to deal with!!!
“Social Responsibility Network”
Hysterical! Using a total LEFT WING name for their network.
‘TV Show Loophole’ in 3....2....1
Or you could just go to Sevierville and buy.
I understand how it works. I even understand Sportsman’s Guides model working. I just don’t see this TV channel working. Maybe I overestimate gun buyers, but the gun buyers I know do a fair amount of research before they buy guns.
Oh well, I don’t watch TV, nor do I care about this company. No big deal to me.
As for me, If I haven't handled it, I'm not likely to buy it.
Even different firearms, the same model and make, feel different to me.
I once went through a rack of surplus rifles before I found 'the one' that just fit and felt right. Theoretically, they were all the same, but they just didn't feel that way.
