I listened to the other part of the youtube, where D’sousa makes his opening remarks. In which he points out that Progressive antiAmericanism is not actually aimed at its nominal targets - the founding fathers - but at immigrants.Why? Because the army which defeated and dismembered Mexico - and whatever depredations may be assigned to America - were not rich guys from the East, but poor immigrants with calluses on their hands. Immigrants built America. Take away the legitimacy of your property and mine in the here and now, you take away the legitimacy, ultimately, of our great grandfathers who did the work of building the country (admitting some questionable actions along the way).
But of course there is no conceivable way of making 200 - yo history “right.”
Thanks for posting. That student and the woman in the white sweater were painful to watch. I’m half white and half Cherokee. All my life people have asked me why I don’t get all the free stuff I could get for Indians, and I tell them that bad things happened to my ancestors but it didn’t happen to me, that was then and this is now.
I thought the woman almost had an orgasm at the conclusion of the students speech(question). I was impressed as the audience permitted both viewpoints to be delivered uninterrupted. Rarely the persona seen in the Regressive community when anyone dares to throw cold water on their fires of moral outrage.
Yeah, he should give up his seat at Amherst, and demand they seat be given to an underprivileged student. Put his educational opportunity where his big mouth spouts.

Some years ago the son of friends came home from college during the Christmas break.
While they were dining the night he came home all he did was spout leftist,anti capitalism crap.
They just let him babble.
After dinner he was going out with friends and asked if he could take a car.
They told him no,he could take his bicycle. They said the capitalist corporations that they worked for paid for the cars and he couldn’t use one for the rest of his vacation.
They stuck to their guns and he shut up.
