All that verbiage and Greenfield still can’t bring himself to say it, although he hints at it. What makes Marxocrat cities like Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, and D.C different than Marxocrat cities like Seattle and Portland? We all know it! It’s time we said it! The killing fields are all predominantly black!!
I like Greenfield, but like most conservative writers he just can't admit the obvious...where there are large groups of blacks, there is a high rate of violence.
But having a tough conservative mayor would help. Giuliani's policies eventually cut the the NYC homicide rate by 75%. Most of those homicides were black males killing other black males.
A huge problem in the violent cities is the liberal establishment refusing to admit it has a problem with young, black males. Until young, black males are clamped down on, the high homicide cities will be dangerous. I won't hold my breath waiting for the election of tough mayors to clamp down. Easier to blame Evil Whitey for the problem.
