Canton Police K-9 shot & injured while responding to overnight burglary in stable condition

CANTON, Ohio - A Canton Police K-9 and a suspect were shot and injured early Saturday morning while responding to an active burglary call, police said.
According to police, officers, along with 3-year-old K-9 Jethro, responded to the burglary call just after 1 a.m. at the Fisher Foods, on 1272 Harrison Ave. SW, when the suspect confronted Jethro inside the store.
