I am, ah, mostly joking about the men supposed to hate cats thing.
Truth be told, I’ve always loved the cat. I ‘ve had a cat since I was 16, and I’ve had to put a number of them to sleep between then and now when I’m 44.
Every time that happens, I always lose my composure, and most of those times it’s in front of a female who is the vet putting them to sleep.
They don’t cry, I cry. How embarrassing!
That’s when I tell them in my blubbering voice that I don’t even like cats, and they chuckle in a good natured way knowing that I am full of it.
that’s sad.
I dont even want to think about my buddy, who’s 7, facing that.
