Kaisch announced he will not compete in SC and is waiting for MI. I suspect Kaisch knows he is not viable and is merely angling to pick off enough delegate so that he can play kingmaker at a brokered convention.
The GOP needs a clear winner. The Establishment angling for a brokered convention is politically suicidal.

This is not true. Kasich is campaigning in SC and has ads up. Certainly not at the level of the op guys, but he is here. What he said was he thought he would do better than people expect in the south, but Michigan is targeted as a state he can win. I am guessing 9% in the first poll after NH will give him more confidence. I would not be surprised if he passes Jeb.
