Somebody help me understand the logic of liberals wanting to close Gitmo.
1. The Muslim radicals started this war against us.
2. The Muslim radicals hate us and would destroy us if they could.
3. Gitmo was set up as a place to out enemy combatants of the war they started against us.
4. Obama and liberals say that the mere presence of Gitmo hurts our image in the world and enrages our enemies.
5. But our enemies started this war against us before Gitmo was a prison for enemy combatants.
I have trouble following The logic here that we have emboldened the enemy by simply having that detention facility.
Often what is called “liberal logic” is simply “liberal insanity”.
