Bears have poor eyesite but a great sense of smell.
If a bear started climbing up a stand, then let the bear know you’re there.
Most of the time it will run away
This one looked to dash off when he got a whif of human. Of course he was several steps up the ladder before smelling him. Noise early on would have been a better idea, but then he wouldn't have had the video.
