Folks, this poster, “AmricaUnited” is an election troll...
Looking back at his posting history shows he has no posts at all between 11-13-2012 (the last election year) and 3-28-2016 (this election year)

He is more than likely paid to do this...

Disregard anything he posts...He has zero integrity....

Given two choices, Isolationist or Globalist. Which would you want?

How can somebody with a degree from Wharton fail to recognize the positive benefits of deregulation and tax reduction in the pursuit of improving international trade?

How can that same person tout tariffs as the solution, without mentioning deregulation and tax reduction?

How can that same person then defend the introduction of tariffs as simply an initial negotiating position?
(which of course completely undermines the strategy before its even on the table)

Genius negotiator???

The fact is, there are times when protecting and prioritizing your own is more important than helping a friend.

I like to think of it in the terms of a permit confined space - 60+% of confined space injury victims...are would-be rescuers!!

America and Americans are currently suffering. They NEED a President and Congress to stop worrying about the sexual habits of the Sumatran grouse weasel and start worrying about the future of America!! PERIOD!!

The candidate who promises to build a wall and curtail illegal immigration gets my vote… and my hope that he will actually do so.

My view exactly - I'm going to put up with the other things that come from Trump and his supporters because I believe Trump is the best possibility we have to secure our southern border and end illegal immigration.

And I don't buy for a second the premise that wishing to secure our nation's borders makes Trump (or me ) an isolationist.

There is a right way to do things and there is a wrong way to do things. The wrong way has been done for so long that the people now believe the wrong is right.. down is up... etc.

It is not hard to run this country just doing what is right. Name calling/labeling doesn’t change the fact that something is correct. Tough love in parenting is not easy, but it works better than this lousy loose whatever goes thing as of late.

Get rid of all the names/labels... and just do the right things. Closing our borders and sending illegals back is not being isolationists. We rebuilt Japan after the war... how long do we have to pay for that country... we handled the share of cost for all of Europe after the war... how long do we have to keep on keeping them out of trouble... the Saudis are a wealthy country... all that oil we are paying for to drive here when we have oil that we can’t drill... and we still give those countries money... tax dollars.

When does one go through and find out where our money is going and why. When does one cut out what is no longer necessary. When does one stop paying countries .. just because it has been done.. doesn’t mean it has to continue. We are being fried with debt... that debt is OURS... and we need to care who we are paying and why. This is not post WWII... it’s long been gone.. and we need to take care of this country... no one else will give a care. We need to bring back the factories we lost to Japan and China. We need to think about what is right for the USA. There will be respect once again for the USA if we are strong and have a robust economy.. a place like no other. It’s been dethroned and destroyed by obama and the left. A strong leader who is not afraid to make things right again.. will do wonders for the USA. It takes more than just being a conservative ... the whole GOP and congress has been so absent in leadership... they do not have a clue as to what is right.. it’s only what’s right for THEM. Their so called “conservatism” is one thing that is wrong with this land. They have duped us all and their so called conservatism has been a total failure.

Donald Trump is not an isolationist

He is an American Nationalist who objects to the political and corporate elite's plan to redistribute America's wealth, technology , know how and manufacturing base to the rest of the world under the guise of free trade for their own personal short term gain

I'm for free trade because true free trade benefits Americans

We are not seeing free trade in today's economy , we are seeing the fire sale of America's industrial base brokered by the political, corporate and financial elite at the expense of America's tax payers .

Much of the development of the technology being transferred was developed, funded and subsidized with tax payer money and which collectively constitute our countries crown jewels and our legacy and inheritance to our grandchildren . The elite who control access to these crown jewels have been bad stewards of those jewels, and in many cases have squandered the countries wealth and traded it to foreign countries and George Soros style billionaire power brokers for their own personal gain< p> Free trade only makes sense and can only truly exist when there is a level playing field and America is currently playing on the most un level playing field imaginable

Donald Trump does not wish to destroy our system of international trade and collaboration, which is impossible anyway. All he is proposing is leveling the playing field a bit to allow America to have the same access to foreign markets that they have to ours and negotiate trade deals that allow America to have some small sliver of hope to compete internationally

I'm an ardent free trader who ridiculed H. Ross Perot's "giant sucking sound" prediction on NAFTA and I was correct to do so because under true free trade it would not happen. America's industrial base has not been "sucked " across our borders, it has been looted, cut up and shipped out the back door in the dead of night for the personal gain of those entrusted with it's stewardship to the detriment of the American people

They say a conservative is a liberal who just got mugged

What is an American Economic Nationalists? Perhaps they are free trade advocates who have been mugged by the reality that has not developed in the positive win-win way it was originally intended to and how it was originally sold to the American public. The reality is there have been benefits, but they have been mostly of the short term and unsustainable type, while the long term consequences have devastating

It's plainly obvious that trusting our current political class to negotiate trade deals that take the interests of the American people even remotely into account is akin to trusting Big City , Chicago Democrat machine politicians to negotiate square deals with Public Workers Unions who recycle the wages union dues back directly into the campaign coffers of those same politicians. It just ain't gonna happen

Not trying to pick a fight, but you do understand that all legislation must go through the House and senate right? My deceased dad used to rail on that my whole life, in that 1 man can not do it alone and that it takes a majority of the 535

You have to start “eliminating the waste” somewhere...Since Trump is running, this is as good a place as any to begin...Carry it on down through the Congressional races as well....

Ever heard of the coat tail effect? It WILL be happening. Voters are just as mad as hell at the freaks in Congress as they are at the freak in the WH and those want to get in the oval office other than Trump.

That’s easy to say but hard to do as shown by our recent history beginning with the takeover of congress in the 90’s.

The system is corrupted and 50% of the people want that corruption (democrats) so even if 50% of the republicans want to change that only gives you 25% change while the remaining 25% continue on their merry way while trying to corrupt the new guys.

Nothing as significant as eliminating corruption in government is ever easy, but if you don’t make the effort, then you have no right to complain....
