It's part of the plan.Only Trump can be praised, often for things he's not even discussed or given opinions on. It's a bit of projection on his fans part - kind of like Obama was going to make the sea levels go down and pay everyone's rent before he got elected. If Trump builds a wall and boots out 50 million illegals it will be a very good thing. I'll vote for him over the commie nominee, but I'm not nearly as twitterpated as some here about him (and I don't think he's nearly as conservative as his fans think). Just my opinion, YMMV.

"Why is it so difficult to support Trump without bad-mouthing Cruz?? And vice-versa?"

What I'm going to say is going to sound like more bad mouthing, but it isn't.

Let's say I see a rat walking through my kitchen, and it's fur is caked with rabid drool, and it looks very hungry. I'm going to say 'hey, look at that disgusting rat, let's get it the hell out my house."

Now, let's say a person from PETA says 'why do you have to bad mouth that rat?

I don't bad mouth Cruz. What I say is neither more positive nor more negative than how I see him. I believe he's mentally ill. I believe he is socially autism spectrum. I believe he is disconnected from the human beings around him.

I'm just calling it as I see it, and when I express that, I hope my PETA friend will say 'wow, you're right, this rat is diseased and probably rabid, let's get it out of the house before he hurts someone or infects something or someone.'

When I say I can't stand him, I mean it. I think he's a sick individual, and I wouldn't let him near my daughter or my cat.

Ted Cruz is missing a piece that is necessary to be a human being. His loss will only prove to himself that Americans are stupider than he thought. He has no connection to you or me. He is fundamentally, neurological, personally and socially damaged, probably he was born that way.

I have just even-mouthed Ted Cruz. That's no more negative nor positive than a see him. It has zero to do with Trump. Zero. Cruz is sick and I'm concerned that he's gotten this close, that more people didn't find this obvious from the start, because everything bad any of us who sensed this talked about but hadn't come fully out in him is now strewn everywhere.

Had Ted Cruz not had a sharp-ish (I emphasize 'ish') mind, the only other probable way he would have wound up on our TV sets is as the nerdy kid who couldn't get the girl and murdered her for not liking him on a Dateline Mystery episode - who can't believe he got caught by those stupid cops.

Ted Cruz doesn't have a screw loose, he has a missing part. That may not be his fault, but it's not the rabid rats fault that it has rabies I have to get it the hell out of my house before it causes all kinds of misery.

Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about him.

OMG, I wish someone would ask Ted that question. EVERY question he gets that has NOTHING to do with Trump he turns into an attack on Trump. EVERY SINGLE TIME. You could ask him about the weather and he would somehow connect it to a lie he wants to tell about Trump. I know he's trying to "stay on point" as a politician is supposedly supposed to do, but he does it so predictably that he is like a pre-programmed robot that spits out anti-Trump lies no matter what the question is.

I was pro-Cruz before the presidential race, but Cruz DOES lies ALOT. Its one thing to say Trump can’t be trusted in what he say. Its another to claim Trump said something he didn’t

All Cruz does is bad-mouth Trump. That has been his whole campaign lately.

Why is it so difficult to support Trump without bad-mouthing Cruz?? And vice-versa?

I gotta tell ya, Cruz was once my favorite, but now I can't watch him talk for 30 seconds without switching the channel. All he does is "bad mouth" Donald Trump. It's obviously not a winning strategy, and hasn't been for months, really, but it nonetheless proceeds apace.

Ted Cruz is clinging to a shrinking base of support. It's rather unrealistic when Cruz's campaign and supporters are tearing down the presumptive nominee, to expect the Trump campaign and supporters to unilaterally disarm.

The fact is, what Cruz is doing, as the losing candidate, is what is needlessly ripping the party apart.

This is the exact reason why a candidate should step aside: when they have no reasonable chance of winning any scenario.

The party can't unify as long as Ted Cruz carries on this Machiavellian mission on behalf of either his GOPe benefactors or else his own blind personal ambition.

If the situation were reversed, there would be a deafening outcry for Donald Trump to suspend his campaign.

Instead, Ted Cruz is in that position, and one need look no further to see the rank hypocrisy at play here on the part of both the GOPe and the failed Cruz campaign.

So that's my synopsis as to why Ted Cruz is being "bad-mouthed". Donald Trump has endured magnitudes more "bad-mouthing".

Anyone who has seen the last few moves by the Cruz campaign should be aware of what stage it has arrived at.

I'm sure everybody would all be delighted if the GOP(e)-on-GOP badmouthing would stop, so that we could all enjoy the Democrats bad-mouthing us all as a group.

Vote Trump

Because it's a to-the-last-ounce aggressive competition for the highest office on earth – a herculean struggle for power.

"Badmouthing" the competitor is the nature of American elections. Always has been, always will be.

Stop being such a damn school marm and get over yourself.
