German is worried that finishing first might see them play Italy who they have not beaten in a Euro match.
Italy would have to lose to Ireland though for that to even have a chance of happening, wouldn't they? I don't think that will happen.
I don't know if I see that happening at all, Germany (Group C) vs. Italy (Group E), at least in the round of 16. I'd have to study it, it doesn't look like it would happen.
