I only pick “96 hours” because of the average amount of supplies in American homes.
My real point is that they will make a mistake very quick. It won’t take weeks or months. They’ll hide in your bushes the moment they run out of cigarettes - much less an actual food item.

My county Ag center had a seed-savers meetup, got a bunch of free seeds. Nobody seemed to want a whole bunch of packets of Hopi tobacco seeds. I’ll be planting this next spring. Good for barter.
