Michele wants her fired for wearing hideous clothes that don't fit.
If you feel are injured by this incident, you may be able to sue under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
Historically, under the doctrine of sovereign immunity, you were not permitted to sue the king. Sovereign immunity has carried over to modern times in the form of a general rule that you cannot sue the government unless the government says you can.
Fortunately, the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) allows certain kinds of lawsuits against federal employees who are acting within the scope of their employment. And not doing their job to protect the US from high crimes and misdemeaners is one of them,
If you believe you may have a claim for negligence (careless conduct, or other wrongful or tortious conduct) against a federal agency or employee, you must first determine whether you can sue the federal government under the FTCA.
Although the limitations and exceptions are too numerous to review here, here are some general guidelines regarding the limitations on FTCA claims:
Only federal employees can be sued under the FTCA, not independent contractors hired by the federal government (unless they are treated like employees).
The negligent or wrongful conduct must have been done within the scope of the defendants employment.
In general, only claims of negligence as opposed to intentional misconduct are allowed (though some claims for intentional misconduct can be brought against certain federal law enforcement officers).
The claim must be based on and permitted by the law of the state in which the misconduct occurred.
Despite these and numerous other limitations on FTCA lawsuits, the federal government still pays out millions of dollars each year to compensate FTCA claims. Maybe it will get someones attention. And Ill bet I can find at least one hundred lawyers and a number of organizations that would like to get a piece of Uncle Sugar. (hat tip FReeper redwood71)
Similar circumstances as O.J. Simpson with “best friend” Mr. Kardashian?
All concerned are co-ordinating with the DoJ and with the Sultan in Washington to put this thing to rest to the greatest advantage to each party. It is unclear what the Sultan wants but he will get it.
It was just a sleep over.....
Cheryl gets paid to tell Cankles to shaddap. I would do it for free.
The laws are for the little people. You probably think that it was a coincidence that, shortly after Bill was caught red-handed in perjury, the Feds launched the most high-profile case for lying to a federal agent in last century or so. They devoted the entire weight of the Justice Department to make a federal case of prosecuting and ensuring a prison term for a two-bit charge against Martha Stewart. I was never a fan of Stewart, but her crimes were trivial. Her prosecution was a reminder to the little people that, just because the rulers can get away with murder, the ruled must obey every jot and tittle.
So which is it? She accompanied Hillary to the FBI meeting at 8 AM, or she was seen leaving Hillary’s house at 10 AM?
The Clintons should have been prosecuted under RICO years ago.
Well... doesn't that depend on what the meaning of is is?
The clinton crime family isn’t giving up easily. However, because there apparently are many criminals in government, they may not have to give up.
I find the attendance by Mills and Samuelson at Hillary’s FBI “interview” most intriguing, since neither represent Hillary in this matter. Did the FBI request tat they be there, or did Clinton? If the FBI, my hope is that they anticipated the H would say that she just asked her attorneys to handle the email deletions, etc. Since they refuse to talk based on Attorney-Client privilege, and H keeps saying she want to help, they could ask her to release Mills and Samuelson to answer questions bout the server. Of course, Kendall would insist that she refuse.
Why else would the FBI allow them to be present?
Mills claimed to be Hillary’s personal attorney during her questioning by the FBI/prosecutors and used attorney/client privilege to avoid the questions.
I don’t know how she got away with that. I don’t know of any statute that approves taxpayers paying for private attorneys yet Mills was on the public payroll in the Dept. of State as Hillary’s prime assistance. Perhaps someone can tell me how this can happen.
