I don’t know where you reside but if we say for sake of discussion that you live in a state that would be impacted by what this Imowale fella is proposing, and the demographics changed, at what point do you resist?
Or would you consider being relocated safely with your family away from your new “neighbors”? If you were financially compensated, and moved to a community of your choice, would that be an option you would explore?
I would also understand the sentiment if you said you would stay until they physically threw you off your property or something worse.
Whites fought to keep East St. Louis white and it worked for a while. Now it is Hells Half Acre.
Whites fled north St. Louis City, a predominately white German/Irish community. It is almost exclusively black and destitute now, although it is seeing some white pioneers move back in.
South St. Louis has gone the same way. North St. Louis County as well.
Whites will move if they have a spot to go.
