Great read. Makes a lot of sense. May explain Trump's recent personnel changes.

Trump was in Milwaukee, now headed to Louisiana ... He's going to pull the Bill Clinton '"I feel your pain... Cold hearted crooked Hillary doesn't "

I love it !

Run along, n00b. Your red queen is about to self destruct and Kaine take her place ... or worse, Biden! But then you don’t care, so long as you get paid for thepropag-work

Actually, though he doesn’t like Trump he’s shown a lot of clarity about Trump’s strengths.

I actually see it a bit differently. I think the Trump campaign is operating on a subconscious program that mirrors the trajectory of his life.

Trump had ascended in business, had a fall and relatively lean years, and then reached greater success. I think that’s his preferred life arc though it’s not deliberate.

G
His campaign is essentially an accelerated Re enactment of his life trajectory.

If there is a 3rd act it won’t be abandoning his position on the wall and immigration as Dilbert guy suggests. It may be his regret for some name calling as he suggested today in a speech. Maybe he is all business from here on out and shows wavering or undecided voters that he is the disciplined, mature business man that built an empire.

Scott Adams always has an interesting perspective. Certainly a better use of time than reading the 10th repost of the same story.

I haven’t read the article but that’s how I view the shift we’re seeing.

Act I - Big, bold, build movement (Lewandowski)
Act II - More professional, lockdown delegates for nomination (Manafort)
Act III - General election (presidential) messaging (Bannon/Conway)

I think they’re more phases than acts, but Trump seems adaptable and is approaching this in a business-like fashion as the campaign seasons change.

Not quite sure if Scott Adems is right here. Seems more like an article to get views than an honest work.

But, I don’t doubt that Trump is working hard to win the election either.

Meh.

It’s 81 days until election day. A lot can happen in 81 days.

By way of comparison, the duration of the 2015 federal election in Canada was 78 days. That was the longest election period in over 150 years — about twice as long as normal. Plenty of time for a third act.

Adams has some real insights. The next 81 days should be very interesting.

Scott Adams' photo in that link, looks a lot like the "WTF is *wrong* with him?" recent Bill Clinton photo.

Adams is just bullshitting as to the "why"; similar in my mind to the hoax when he presented himself as "Ray Mebert" the consultant, whose credentials included the fictitious "Taste Brite" project for Proctor & Gamble.

the model of a three-act movie

I know a lot of three act plays. What's a three act movie?
